Bob Davis

Robert Davis is a Senior Research Engineer.  He has primary responsibility for writing and implementing field protocols that measure whole house heating/cooling equipment and appliance performance.  He has served as project manager for HVAC equipment performance and duct research conducted in light commercial buildings, single-family, and manufactured homes for various clients, including the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Eugene Water and Electric Board, Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, Puget Sound Energy, Portland General Electric and the Oregon Office of Energy.  Mr. Davis has thorough knowledge of the nuances of energy use in residential and light commercial buildings. He has written numerous field protocols, instrumented many homes with automated data collections systems, and conducted dozens of technical training sessions. He has extensive experience troubleshooting packaged rooftop units, gas furnaces/appliances and heat pumps.  He is EPA-certified to handle refrigerants and has a limited electrical license to service HVAC equipment in Washington and Oregon.
